Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. He will be responsible for managing and maintaining our different projects & company’s website, including content updates, design changes, and functionality improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wordpress development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain projects & the company’s website, including updating content, design changes, and functionality improvements.
- Both front-end and back-end development, including the implementation of themes and plugins. Managing database & server integration.
- Ensure that the website is user-friendly and responsive, and that it meets all design and functionality standards.
- Analyze website traffic and performance data to identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize the website’s performance.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that the website supports the company’s overall marketing and sales goals.
- Collaborate with web designers, developers, and other professionals to develop and implement new website features and functionality.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including hosting providers, content management system providers, and web analytics providers.
- Ensure that the website is compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of Proven work experience as a WordPress developer with a track record of success in managing and optimizing websites.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
- Knowledge of Vue.js would be plus.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze website data and performance metrics, and develop insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and other professionals.
- Experience with web analytics tools, content management systems, and other web technologies.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
